David Ajala

From “Star Trek: Discovery” to Shakespeare to the Fast & Furious franchise, our next guest does it all!

David Ajala trained at the Anna Scher Theatre and Courtyard Theatre drama schools, then began his career performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company at in Stratford-upon-Avon where he performed in productions of “Hamlet,” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” among others.

Ajala’s Film credits include the independent feature STARRED UP alongside Jack O’Connell and Rupert Friend; the Wachowski feature JUPITER ASCENDING with Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum; and FAST & FURIOUS 6 alongside the late Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

Ajala was nominated “Best Acting Performance” by the Royal Television Society in 2009. On TV he has appeared in many TV shows with major roles in Black Box, Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands, Nightflyers, Falling Water and Supergirl. In addition, Ajala has also had major guest roles in award winning shows including “Law & Order: UK,” “Death in Paradise,” “Silent Witness,” and the wildly popular “Dr. Who.”

In October 2019, he joined the regular cast of season three of Star Trek: Discovery.

Doug Jones

Doug’s illustrious career spans 30+ years in television and on film! Currently, Doug can be seen as Captain Saru on the CBS series “Star Trek Discovery”!

Fans will long remember Doug for his work as THE SILVER SURFER in FANTASTIC FOUR RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. He also breathed the life and soul into ABE SAPIEN in HELLBOY and HELLBOY II THE GOLDEN ARMY.

In the Oscar-winning film he wants to be remembered for, Doug portrays 2 characters, both Pan and The Pale Man in PAN’S LABYRINTH. He teamed up again with director Guillermo del Toro to bring an original story to life in the Oscar-winning film “The Shape of Water”.

Another fan favorite is the Halloween cult classic, HOCUS POCUS, in which Doug plays the goofy zombie BILLY BUTCHERSON, a role he reprised in HOCUS POCUS II. His earliest comic book movie appearance was alongside Danny De Vito as a circus clown henchman in BATMAN RETURNS.

Doug moves seamlessly from film to TV. He can currently be seen in “What We Do In The Shadows”! Previous notable television work includes FALLING SKIES, TEEN WOLF, FEAR ITSELF, THE NEIGHBORS, and the lead Gentleman on the Emmy-nominated “Hush” episode of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!

Elias Toufexis

Come on – deep down, you’ve always wanted to meet a TV villain haven’t you? How about a video game character (or six)?

Elias Toufexis portrays the villain L’AK in Star Trek Discovery, along with a number of other television characters, including Kenzo in “The Expanse” and Weber in “Supernatural”.

He also portrays extremely popular characters in video games and animation–Adam Jensen in “Deus Ex”, Federico and Leonidas in “Assassin’s Creed”, Ragnarok and Major Oswald in “Fortnite”, Antonov in “Call Of Duty” and Seraphim in the hit Netflix series “Blood Of Zeus”.

Walter Koenig

Meet Walter Koenig – Yes, the real Walter Koenig! – at SiouxperCon 2024: Happily Ever After benefitting Make-A-Wish South Dakota and Montana!

Best known for his role as Ensign Pavel Chekov in Star Trek’s Original Series, Koenig has a wonderfully varied career on screen and stage and beyond. He first played Checkov in Star Trek in 1966, and continued to reprise that role, not only through all seven of the original Star Trek movies, but also in subsequent video games, videos and television episodes.

In addition to his Star Trek credits, Koenig has performed in numerous movies, television shows, radio productions and stage shows. And he’s also a writer! A one-character piece that Koenig wrote and performed entitled “You’re Never Alone when You’re a Schizophrenic” was a finalist in the 1996 New York Film Festival awards. autobiography, “Warped Factors – A Neurotic’s Guide to the Universe” was released through Taylor Publishing on April 1, 1998. He’s written for television shows, seen publication with the non-fiction “Chekov’s Enterprise” and the satiric fantasy novel “Buck Alice and the Actor-Robot”, and created the three issues of the comic book story “Raver” published by Malibu Comics.

Koenig has taught classes in acting and directing privately at UCLA, The Sherwood Oaks Experimental Film College and at the California School of Professional Psychology. Most recently, he has been an instructor at the Actor’s Alley Repertory Company in Los Angeles, California.
